Blackbox Connect is a programe that is helping promising non-US startups scale and interface with Silicon Valley. In partnership with Google for Entrepreneurs and global tech hubs, the cohort’s program will run from February 9th – 20th 2015. Fezah Arts is a crowdfunding platform for performing artistes in Africa. It helps them raise money and also build partnerships through which costs for venues or any other kind of arrangement are subsidized. It enables African musicians, film makers and fine artists make their projects happen – albums, art collections, films, concerts, tours. “We believe in Blackbox Connect’s vision of building a global community of entrepreneurs who come together in Silicon Valley for an immersive two weeks — and then return to their home countries inspired to continue being leaders in their startup communities. FanFootage (UK/Ireland): Fan-sourced event video platform for live music and sports event. Fezah (Uganda): A marketplace for performing artists and venues in Africa. Korbit (South Korea): Korea’s leading Bitcoin exchange, wallet & merchant processor. Lime Rocket (Australia): Engaging crowd games for live audiences at public places.
