The successors to last year’s Infinix Zero 4 and Zero 4 Plus, both spot a dual camera set up and come in a set of flashy new colors; sandstone black, champagne gold and bordeaux red, bronze, gold, black while packing impressive specs.
The devices both spot dual camera. A 12MP normal lens and a 13MP telephoto lens. This is at par with most recent flagships. According to the compant, this combo helps deliver a remarkable DSLR-like experience. How true this statement is will be determined when we get the device in house for review. Heads-up, early reviews show that it actually works rather well. The star of the show could easily be the front facing camera. Infinix packed a 16MP selfie shooter with an LED flash on both devices. In this Instagram and selfie age, this will no doubt be one of the main selling points for these devices. Both devices spot 6GB RAM which at its price point is pretty unheard of. The base model Zero 5 comes with 64GB internal storage that is expandable while the Zero 5 Pro comes with a massive 128GB storage. They both run Android 7 Nougat with Infinix’s XOS 3.0 Hummingbird on top. Disapponting we didn’t see the newer Android 8.0 Oreo but Infinix promises an update soon.
