Let’s take a look at the specs of the device before I tell you why this model is great. The Techno Phantom Pad N9 comes with:
8” screen size 1.2GHz quad-core processor Runs Android Jellybean 4.2.2 1GB RAM 5MP rear facing and 2MP front facing cameras
What I love most about this product is that you can get it from the low price of ₦20,000 ($115.34). If you’re looking at an iPad you’ll have to pay more than six times the amount at a whopping ₦132,000 ($761.25). And to me this is the biggest selling point of the Tecno Phantom Pad. The price isn’t the only selling point though! The 1.2GHz quad-core processor is more powerful than the dual-core processor found on the Samsung Galaxy Tab models, while coming out at ₦15,000 cheaper. The screen resolution is also better than Samsung’s 7” Galaxy Tab 3. With the Tecno P9 having 800 x 128, and the Samsung’s having 600 x 1024. You really can’t go wrong. The Techno Phantom Pad has also released the P9 mini model coming in at ₦25,000 ($144.18) which boasts similar specs, but with a smaller, more portable 7” screen, but the same quality cameras, same powerful processor, same OS, great resolution, well, you get the point. Both the N9 and the P9 are available on major online sites such as Konga.com and have been available since December of 2013, so if you’re looking for a cheap, quality tablet to take with you wherever you go, check them out.
