Specs
The Oppo Find X features a 6.4-inch curved-display and runs on a Snapdragon 845 processor and 8GB of RAM. Other specs include a 3730mAh battery, 256GB of on-board storage, a 25-megapixel front-facing camera and a dual-lens rear camera (16MP+20MP). As usual, it’ll run on the latest version of the company’s ColorOS Android skin and support their proprietary VOOC fast-charging. It’s also packing a form of 3D face-scanning akin to that found in the iPhone X, and support for Animoji-inspired 3D Omojis.
The headlining feature of the Find X has got to be the ingenius wat they handled the front facing sensors. What gives it the wow-factor. The glass-sandwich looks like a blank rectangular slab with no sensor in sight. Not even the fingerprint sensor coz this one doesn’t pack one. The rear-cameras and front-facing sensors are housed in a motorised mechanism that wirrs up when needed and receeds not in use.
Pricing
Monster specs for a monster device no doubt. Which is why Oppo is pricing this one at a whooping Ksh 100,000. This kind of pricetag is becoming more common with these kind of devices. The Galaxy Note 8, the iPhone X and the recently launched Galaxy Note 9 are just a few examples of the same.
